Questions to ask your doctor

Before starting treatment, ask your doctor:

  • Have I been tested for FRα, the protein that ELAHERE targets? What were the results?
  • Is ELAHERE right for me?
  • How is it different from other treatments I have been on?
  • What is the goal of treatment with ELAHERE?
  • What are the side effects I might experience with this treatment?
  • Is there anything I can do to manage those side effects myself?
  • Will I need to see other specialized doctors?
  • What can I do to get ready for treatment?
  • How long will my infusion take?
  • How often will I have an infusion?
  • Can I go to my regular eye doctor?

For questions about eye-related side effects during treatment with ELAHERE, ask your eye doctor and/or oncologist:

  • What are the eye-related side effects that can occur with ELAHERE?
  • Is there any way I can manage eye-related side effects during treatment?
  • When should I let you know if I experience anything new or unusual with my eyes?
  • Is there anything I should do to take care of my eyes?
  • How often should I have an eye exam?

Question for your eye doctor:

My oncologist put me on a drug that can affect my eyes. Would your office be able to work with my oncologist to help monitor my eye health during my treatment?

FRα=folate receptor alpha.
